- Prep your ingredients: Start by dicing the onion and bell peppers, then mince the garlic and ginger.
- Cook the ground turkey: In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the lean ground turkey and cook until browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add aromatics: Stir in the diced onions, minced garlic, and ginger. Sauté for around 3 minutes until onions are translucent.
- Add vegetables & sauce: Toss in the diced bell peppers and pour the soy sauce over everything. Stir well to coat.
- Simmer together: Lower the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes until veggies are tender.
- Assemble your bowls: Spoon the cooked rice into bowls and layer the turkey mixture on top. Garnish with sliced green onions.
