- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake chocolate chip cookies until golden brown, then cool completely.
- Whisk together instant vanilla pudding mix and whole milk until smooth. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.
- Layer cookie crumbs in a large trifle dish, followed by half of the pudding mixture. Spread half of the whipped cream on top.
- Repeat layers with the remaining cookie crumbs, pudding mixture, and whipped cream. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours, ideally overnight, before serving.
- Optional: Sprinkle with festive sprinkles just before serving.
