How to Make Lemon Sugar Donuts
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the donut pan.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
- Beat the eggs in another bowl, then mix in the whole milk, lemon zest, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients using a spatula, gently folding them together until just mixed.
- Spoon or pipe the batter into each donut cavity about three-quarters full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool the donuts in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- While still warm, roll them in the confectioners' sugar.
