  • 1 can Crescent roll dough Refrigerated
For the Filling
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • 1/2 cup Cranberry sauce Homemade or store-bought
  • 1/4 cup Sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup Chopped pecans Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and cranberry sauce. Stir until smooth, then mix in sugar and optional chopped pecans.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and cut it into triangles along the perforations.
  4. Place about 1 tablespoon of the creamy filling at the wide end of each triangle and roll tightly from wide to narrow.
  5. Arrange the rolled crescent bites on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly. Optionally, brush with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown, then cool slightly before serving.
