Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and cranberry sauce. Stir until smooth, then mix in sugar and optional chopped pecans.
- Unroll the crescent dough and cut it into triangles along the perforations.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the creamy filling at the wide end of each triangle and roll tightly from wide to narrow.
- Arrange the rolled crescent bites on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly. Optionally, brush with melted butter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown, then cool slightly before serving.
