Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the mixed nuts and sunflower seeds in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the miso paste, maple syrup, soy sauce, cayenne pepper, and sesame oil in another bowl until smooth.
- Pour the miso mixture over the nuts and seeds; stir well until everything is evenly coated.
- Spread the nut and seed mixture in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown, stirring halfway through for even toasting.
- Cool completely before breaking apart if needed. Store in an airtight container.
