How to Make
- Activate the Yeast: Warm the milk until it's lukewarm, then mix in the yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and salt. Create a well in the center to add the yeast mixture, beaten eggs, and melted butter. Stir gently until the ingredients come together into a shaggy dough.
- Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a floured surface, kneading for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Let it Rise: Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl, cover it with a damp towel, and let it rise in a warm spot for around an hour, or until it doubles in size.
- Prepare the Filling: Mix the fresh blueberries with sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Roll Out the Dough: Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the blueberry filling evenly over the dough, then roll it into a log shape.
- Slice and Arrange: Cut the log into 12 equal slices and place them in a greased baking pan.
- Bake to Perfection: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C), then bake your rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
