How to Make Valentine's Nutella Cake
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and granulated sugar until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the sugar and mix until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
- Gently fold in half a cup of Nutella into the batter.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for about 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
- Once cooled, spread the remaining Nutella over the top of the cakes and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Notes
For an artistic touch, consider swirling some Nutella into your frosting before spreading it on the cake.
