How to Make Crispy Avocado Fries
- Gently slice the ripe avocados in half and remove the pits. Make sure to handle them carefully to avoid any bruising!
- Arrange three bowls in a row. In the first, place flour seasoned with salt and pepper; the second holds beaten eggs; and the third features panko breadcrumbs mixed with paprika for added flavor.
- Start by coating each avocado half in the seasoned flour—this helps the egg adhere. Then, dip them into the egg wash, followed by a generous coating in the panko mixture until well-covered.
- In a skillet, pour about an inch of cooking oil and heat it over medium heat. Use a thermometer to check that it reaches 350°F (175°C) for perfect frying.
- Carefully place the coated avocado halves into the hot oil. Fry until they turn a beautiful golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Once golden, transfer them onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. Serve them immediately while they’re nice and crispy.

Optional: Drizzle with lime juice for an extra zesty kick! Perfect ripeness is key to avoid mushy texture.
